congratulations bro
number 167 viewer has an opinion!!!!!!!
lol
i agree!
like farve was quoted...theres kind of a bounty out on every play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it WAS stupid to do a bounty to begin with...you hit hard...injuries are just occasional results...the offensive player either dodges the hit...takes on the hit with offensive energy(DELIVERING THE BOUNTY!), OR runs out of bounds
ITS FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- agree with what you said
idiotic thing is the chance that these fckrs actually need more motivation to hit someone (legally) as hard as they fckn can - wtf????? -
problem is with the coach if he can't motivate his players not to mention the fckn huge money - geeze
now it would be a big problem in high school football - but the pro's - i see nothing worth more than a laugh at the story

it's like a porn star complaining that her vag or arse is stretched out due to dudes that are too big for the opening.. and now they are pissed and going to sue them and the makers of the movies..
and forget the stretch marks around her mouth..Last edited by spywizard; 03-06-2012 at 04:03 PM.

If bonuses were offered to intentionally injure a player then yes people should be fined and or fired.

what if they try to injur a player just for shits an giggles? with a legal hit? just the mindset that any football player learns since they were kids...
i agree the bonus thing was STUPID STUPID STUPID...MAKES NO SENSE...should be the players intentions to hit hard , dislodge the ball, etc. every single chance they get...offenses have to adjust as well as defense...i've seen offensive players take out a defender that was blindsided...its FOOTBALL

The problem as I see it is the coaches involvement in structuring it. Its encourages and increases the potential for a dirty hit to intentionally injure.
Its football - legal hit - intent aside - no problem.
A coaches participation in an activity that may encourage an illegal hit - a hit that could end a players career- in a sport abscent of guaranteed contracts= unacceptable.
I wish BgMc31 was around to comment. Id love to hear his thoughts. Good guy - anyone seen him around?

No haven't seen him post in a while
Coaches get to much credit for everything anyway...I wish they would stay behind the scenes...even commentators on sports channels carry too much ego and have too much opinion...I liked it when they just called the plays and nuff said...they have too many shows and need more stories to fill the time slots...
Back to the hitting...I see zero hits in their "bounty" segment replays that are illegal...the only play I remember in all of football that was dispicable was that fat ass ndomican suh stomp last year...he's a bad ass player but that was a scum of the earth move...romanowski was a fvcker too

A legal hit is a legal hit, bounty or not. The problem I have with it is when the player's mindset switches from "I'm gonna hit as hard as I can" to "I want to injure and harm another person." It's pretty sick to not only wish harm on someone, but to go carry it out for money. Legality wise, I don't see how any of this goes to court...no different than betting with your buddies, just with a higher dollar amount.

i honestly think its all talk anyway...pretty much most injury hits have been turned into illegal hits like blows to the head...i know there are some penalties for going low/knees as well..
definitely shouldnt have made mainstream news...sportscenter at best...
going back to a hit in last season that was a good hit that caused an already aggressive player to be suspended....harrison for the steelers...i thought his fa***ask was facing more upwards and the offensive player ducked slightly and i didnt even see much helmet to helmet it seemed more helmet to fa***ask...i just wonder if they are ever going to try to develop a "strike zone" of a legal hit....above the knees and below the neck, then what if the offensive player jumps (as they like to do sometimes or ducks...
if they want to make it a non agressive/violent sport it will ruin the game...who would tune in to a two hand touch or flag nfl football game...idk...maybe some but not many

It's all about Roger Goodell trying to show that he is Roger GODell. The guy goes way to far when it comes to showing the power he has. The NFL needs a set of checks and balances at the top. To have one person as the judge, jury and executioner is not a good system.
