Can we take clomid/nolva to increase testosterone to normal levels?
Just as the title say's.
Instead of taking ZMA, yohime, tongkat,,or any other natural testosterone booster , can we increase our testosterone by using clomid or nolva for a few weeks or a month if we were on a pro=hormone cyle?
I remember that Bryan mentioned something about cloma/nolva been more productive in increasing testost...
than any other natural supplement !
I have half a bottle of both clomid and nolva left and wouldn't want for it to spoil. How long can it last at room temperature...say at 75 degrees...?
Thanks...Last edited by mario_ps2; 10-07-2005 at 07:10 PM.

clomid/nolva can bring natural test product back after a cycle of a hormone.
But it Cannot increase it beyond normal levels and will do very little if not comming off of a cycle.
What you want to look into is an AI like arimidex /letro or the legal versions like ATD

What will the AI do?
I quite don't understand! Are these testosterone boosters?
On the description, it doesn't say anything about increasing
testosterone... maybe I'm missing something.

It's how the HPTA works buddy. A big part of the feedback loop is estrogen. Medical studies have shown that men unable to aromatize testosterone due to genetical defects have testosterone levels out of the roof. Dont think that this genetic mistakes are bodybuilders however, as it also brings to light the importance of estrogen. These men countinue to grow all there life (growth plates dont close properly) and their bones are weak and cholesterol is terrrible.

Well the HPTA has a normal balance to it for men,
you are supposed to have a normal level of test and estrogen in it.
Males do not create estrogen on their own instead it is converted from testosterone by enzymes in the blood.
The enzymes are called aromatase and the attach to the testosterone hormone and convert a portion of it into estrogen.
An AI inhibits the enzyme from attaching to the test molecule and therefore no estrogen is converted.
The HPTA sees the low levels of estrogen and therefore makes more testosterone to try and up the level of estrogen.

Now SERMS such as nolva and clomid work by a different method of action.
They are actually weak synthetic estrogens that target specific estrogen receptors in the body like the HPTA. They attach to the receptor and block the bodies own stronger estrogen from binding.
so AIs stop production of estro and SERMs block estro from binding but still remain in the body
