3 Protein Shakes A Day???
Am thinking about taking Cyto Gainer pre and post workouts. And just having a Pro Complex during the day. Added to 3 other good protein meals.
Cyto Gainer has your good carbs for pre and post so I just figured.
Totals Per day:: 255g protein, 170g carbs, 55g fats
is 3 too many? Im on a nice workout/diet, so I should get some nice improvments huh?

Shakes are fine to bring you up to your required level of macronutrient intake

There is a big difference between ok, or having bad side effects, and optimal.
If they are in addition to real food, It would be fine, but not in replacment of.
I eat 5 meals a day. If three were shakes, that would make only 2 of them real food. Shakes are whey and absorbed very quickly, which is optimalm post workout, but not neccessaraly the best other times.

I wouldnt take a pre and a post. Id just drink a post. too close to eachother, your body, from what ive read, wont be able to process in such a short time, and thus a waste. I agree with damiongage totally, in fact I did that to break thru a "weight wall" a few years ago. Shake as soon as i woke up, one after my workout, and one about 5 hours later, in addition to 3 meals. I wouldnt do it for a very extended time...But i did it for like 2 months and it was good for what i wanted. GOod luck.

As long as you are getting your EFAs, vitamins, etc...
Outside of you being more hungry do to the fact that shakes are much less filling.
It will mean d!ck.

i'm a student really pressed on time. i eat 7 meals a day...
one meal is a cup of oats and 2 scoops of whey
another is 2 tsp flax, 6 egg whites and 2 scoops of whey
and of course you have the PWO shake...
but i don't have a choice seeing as though i bring my food with me and down it during my walk across campus...

I take 2 shakes a day. And IMO that is not too much
I take a shake in the morning because it gets digested quicker and I don't want to postpone the nutrition longer then I have already by sleeping, DAMN SLEEP!!!
Also it helps with the morning rush, cooking in the AM SUX

I'll a whey shake pwo, and a cassine shake before bed. One more in the morning doesn't seem bad to me... but I wouldn't take one preworkout. Just me, but with a belly full of whey, I don't feel like kicking ass in the gym.
I get the runs with taking the shake pre-workout. Don't know why. Probably just cause I have a sensitive stomach.
