Then your question, What is Flax for?
As the name implies, they are “Essential” to your diet, and must be added because the body cannot make them from raw materials. These are the poly and monounsaturated (friendly fats) that the body requires for optimal functioning that provide the building materials for healthy cell membranes, and are responsible for everything from lubing the skin, scalp and joints to assisting in the many chemical process of everyday functioning including memory, energy and fat mobilization, as well as the support of numerous bodily systems.
For best results one should employ comprehensive sources of ***** 3, 6 and 9, which often means combining flax and fish oil. Should you elect to go with flax only the most complete, the Rolls Royce/Bently of flax products was developed by Dr. Udo, and is aptly enough labeled Udo’s Oil. It is a potent synergistic combination of oils:
·organic flax seed oil;
·organic sunflower seed oil;
·organic sesame seed oil;
·rice and oat germ oils;
·organic coconut oil;
·organic evening primrose oil;
·lecithin (guaranteed GMO-free);
·vitamin E;
·antioxidants (tocotrienols); and
·rosemary oil.

i have read that to much EFA's cause cancer in some studies...don't know how true that is. so, i wouldnt rely on efa's for a fats. saturated fats raise test levels... a balance of fats is your best bet.
