Lipo 6 results
Well, as i said in my previous hydroxycut hardcore thread, here is my post in response to my lipo 6 experience. to get everyone up to par, i started with clen , then switched to hydroxy, then came the lipo 6 to compare fat-burners personally and see what works and what doesn't.
well, of course clens good, and for those who didn't read my hydroxy thread, that worked great as well. now, onto my most recent lipo 6 experience...
first of all, this stuff got me more jittery than any other fat-burner i've ever taken. i'd take my last pill of it at about 1pm in the afternoon and it would still have me up tossing and turning at 11pm.
as far as results, this stuff was no good. that's not to say it didn't work, but just not how i wanted it to. my intention was to use a fat-burner that would increase fat-burning, wheras the lipo 6 increased both fat and muscle loss. it apparently has absolutely no anti-catabolic properties and ate away at my muscle. maybe if i brought my calories up a bit when starting it this wouldn't have happened, but i don't take fat-burners so i can eat more, simply to burn more fat at the intake i was already at. so, in that kind of scenario, the lipo 6 was a horrible choice. 50% of what i lost that week was fat and 50% was muscle. also, it's supposed to have an appetite suppressant in it. however, when i took it, my appetite was stronger than ever. as i said, maybe it worked a bit too good, but i don't think a fat-burner should make you have to increase your calories to keep from losing muscle. then comes the issues of having to experiment with how much to raise your calories to keep burning fat while maintaining the muscle, etc.
so, after all my experimentation, i've decided to finish off with the clen. to me, seemed to be the most effective with the least sides to it. as far as adding t3 to it, decided to skip that. started to initially and the results were similar to lipo 6 where i started losing muscle as well as the fat, only with t3 i lost more muscle than anything else. so, in my personal experience, i'd have to say clen on it's own seems to be the best as far as a fat-burner that minimizes muscle loss and maximizes fat-loss. i suppose for those wanting to keep their calories higher when cutting, t3 might be ok. however, eventually as you come off the t3, then comes the issues of having to recalibrate your macros to accomodate the metabolic decrease in caloric needs. IMO, it's just not worth it.
