    BCAA's/Amino Acids

    I currently take 10-15 grams of BCAA's a day.
    Im gonna start throwing in just regular amino acids. How many grams should I take? And does it matter when? i.e. pre-post workouts...etc.
    Is there a good cheap quality product to buy?

    usually people drink the bcaa's during workout. i dont take them, cause i think there pointless haha. and my protien shakes already have most of the Bcaa's i need.

    Some of my best gains were when i was taking aminos with each meal, however after a while they can get to your stomach--aminos in high quantities can upset the stomach but the gains were worth it

    i used ON powder...

    BCAA have some use especially when leaning up during workout. As far as regular aminos you're wasting your money. Just eat protein or whey.

    Yeah, I was thinking about getting the liquid and drinking them during workout, but I dont feel like drinking dirty asshole as I squat.



    What does ev1 think of is it, um, ON's amino 2222 or something? It seems like capsules would be best. Im just not exactly when or how much to take.

    I think BCAA's are great for when your cutting to help aid in the prevention of muscle break down..I prefere taking the horse pill ones lol

    Hey big sexy I got mine from trueprotein...best price could find...i mix a sugar free drink mix ( Tang Sport with electroytes) it covers up the taste real well. I'm just not a big fan of the dirty asshole taste like Upstate I take 5 gr before cardio and drink another 15gr during, also drink 15 while working out and add 10 to my PWO. Seems like it is really helping, cause I am trying to do some major cutting now.

    I would take BCAAs over AAs. Liquified or I heard that Scivations Extend is pretty decent tasting.
