Talking water, milk, or juice with protein?

I did a search, and didn't find what I was looking for. Hopefully it is not due to overlooking the obvious. Are there any advantages to mixing protein powder with water, milk, or juice besides the caloric differences? Thanks!

I just use water. I personally think it tastes better using water compared to using milk.

There's actually a difference other than milk providing more calories//protein

-Water would best be used for your PWO shake as the protein gets broken down quicker therefore getting into your system quicker, and PWO is when you need that protein quickly

-Milk can be used whenever but most importantly b4 bed due to the fact that it slows the digestive process of the protein so it takes longer to break down the protein which would be a good reason to take b4 bed ie; you would want something to last the longest possible through the night while your sleeping and not eating.

Thanks! I think I will use the milk before bed, and water after a workout.
