    Lightbulb PWO meal

    Hi all, what is the best shakes for PWO ?

    What is the best stacked to go with Optimum 100% Whey ?

    i used to take it with amino and glutamine and then i eat my whole foods after 45 minutes.

    any quickly absorbed protein is good. ON Whey is good i use pro complex post workout. also dont forget your carbs! take some waxy maize with the whey, about .3 - .5 grams of carbs per lb of body weight

    I take whey protein and dextrose. In other words glucose syrup. If you take the glucose(from a supermarket) it is 20% water so in 100gr of syrup there are 80gr of carbs. in dextrose its 100grs.

    thats what i do. dextrose is relatively cheap also

    People love to do the protein thing... Which is good, but you really need a combo of protein AND good simple carbs. Carbohydrates efficiently replace the glycogen stores in the muscles and liver, there is a short window right after your workout that is the most effective time to start replenishing lost amounts.

    Some go with dextrose + whey

    others

    High quality protein + Potatoes or rice


    I norm go the way of the shake as its most conveniente.

    **** dextrose

    no reason to down that much pure sugar in one sitting....stupid.

    Unhealthy and bloat is all you get.


    Its funny how a lot of new people say dextrose this dextrose that, then you look at Bino, Pinn, Nark, Nova, etc....and its like..well shit, what the **** was I doing all along.
