Why is the aspirin there? The aspirin simply prevents the natural reaction of the body to ephedra and caffine, which is to produce prostaglandins (chemicals that are involved with inflammatory reaction). These naturally occur at the moment your body starts to determine the use of any stimulant.
Copy and pasted this from another site.

aspirin also thins the blood, preventing any heart complications due to faster heartbeat, since your heart is gonna beat more per min then you need to make the blood thinner for many reasons
it decreases resistance by making the blood thinner thus less like a shake more like punch.
it prevents blood clots that can be caused by inflamitory actions of stims.
theobromine and caffiene are vaso-active and change the actual dilation from thinner to bigger in many different areas at the same time, not to mention ephedras effect on vasoconstriction. aspirin takes stress off the heart.
aspirin prevents some jitters.
epehdra suppreses a liver enzyme that is needed to get rid of theobromine a metabolite of caffiene, aspirin to a degree can expedite the process of the bodys other ways of exiting a substance that the liver cantLast edited by charlesriley; 11-09-2009 at 11:15 PM.

Quoting me:
"Ephedrine inside the body produces Noradreneline (NA) which then attachs to the beta receptor which in turn stimulates the G Protein. The alpha subunit attachs to the enzyme Adenylate Cyclase and activates it. The adenylate cyclase continues to produce Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate (cAMP) which contines down the thermogenic pathway. There are a couple roadblocks to prevent this from happen. NA's productions is inhibited by prostanglins which is where the aspirin comes into play. Aspirin works to inhibit the production of prostanglins allowing for NA to be produced in a greater quanitity. cAMP is also inhibited by phosphodiesterase (PDE). That is where caffeine plays its part, caffeine inhibits PDE activity allowing cAMP to go down the thermogenic pathway."
