    diuretics and muscle loss!

    I was reading an article that stated that your muscles are made up of apprx. 75% water and that this water environment inside your muscle creats an anabolic effect for muscles to grow.

    If this is true and one were to take a diuretic to eliminate water retention, would that mean that it would make that once anabolic environment into a catabolic one in which your body would fuel off you muscle more easily?

    Thats a good question l myself am worried to take diuretics for the same reason.
    somone shedding light on this would be awesome
