protein shakes without powder
Can you list different ways to make protein shakes (pro/carb; pro/fat) using whole foods without protein powder? I know a lot of people use egg whites, but what else can you mix it with? Maybe something to give it a bit of flavor?
Thanks!

without powder? I thought the whole idea of a shake is to utilize your wey isolate. The raw egg thing came from Rocky 1 back in the 70's, tried it, didn't like it. I don't know any other way to eat wey isolate other than in a shake. So I'm at a loss. if you have the whole food, why would you want to turn it into a shake instead of just eating it?
But to play along, you could mix ground nuts, ground dried beans, tofu, milk.....
(this is silly)

cheap alternative is skim milk powder. but its got a lot of simple sugars in it so it would be perfect for post workout as you need a good insulin spike.
but i think the type of protein is casein whey which is slow release. other then that 1 litre of milk has 32 gms of protein anyways.
just mix whatever you want.

you can do the same thing over hear if you want to take a chance.... if you kill it on the spot, you can pretty much do what you want with it. I'm talking free range chicken btw....
Quick hijack. years ago when I lived in South Korea, just for kicks, we'd go up to the top of Walker Hill (near seoul, a suburb called "E-TA-Won"... wouldn't know how to spell it) and watch Ajima selling live chickens. When she sold them, she'd spike her stilletto knive down it's throat, give it a little twist, and then with a flick of her wrist, pop it in a pot of boiling water for 15 seconds, then out it comes. Another 10 seconds of feather plucking and the transaction was complete. Very quick, very efficient. But this is the type of chicken you may consider eating raw. Not the crap you get out of the supermarket. that crap will get you sick if you eat it raw.

You can get very sick from eating raw eggs. However if you must, get this product as they constantly test for salmonella so it is safe to drink raw, although completely disgusting
