Krill Oil VS Fish Oil
I have heard in the gym and read once that Krill oil is better. This is what I just read about Krill oil online:
Reduces arthritis and pain inflammation
Lowers bad cholestorol
Krill oil contains vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin D, canthaxanthin and omega 3s
Acts as an Antioxidant - "The anti-oxidant potency of krill oil is such that when compared to fish oil in terms of ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorptance Capacity) values, it was found to be 48 times more potent than fish oil"
I saw one cautionary note from someone saying you need to be careful with overdosing vitamin A as this can be stressful on some of the organs.

Krill oil killed my Dad in the Vietnam war. He slipped on a patch of krill oil and fell head first into a land mine.

I've been advocating krill oil over fish oil for some time on here. Go to the Medical Archives under Pubmed and do a literature search for krill oil. Some of the emerging literature has reported benefits of krill oil over fish oil for the following:
- inflammation and oxidative damage
- cardiac remodeling of damaged tissue
- hepatic steatosis
- hypercholesterolemia
- hyperlipidemia
- raising HDL and lowering LDL
