DHEA for Women
My wife is 40 years old and is running in her first marathon in January. My question is "How much DHEA should a women consume on a daily basics?" Does DHEA increase there sex drive? (please tell me YES ).
I did do a search and could find nothing to support my questions.

Great, now I have 2 different opinions that are not even close on the dosage. I could really use some help here before I either overdose or underdose the wife.
What would happen if she got way too much DHEA in her system? Beard?

Most people do not need to supplement DHEA. The question of who should take this hormone remains controversial. Some experts believe that daily intakes of 15–25 mg of DHEA for women and 30-50 mg for men are appropriate amounts for people with deficient blood levels of DHEA or DHEAS.

Too much of anything good can be harmful. I heard from my doctor a while back that it can interfer with blood cell regulation in your body if you take too much. Too much I am assuming is 100mg's and up everyday.
