What's the best way to do cardio for fat burning
I'm really confused on the issue of treadmill cardio. I see some people in the gym walking fast, others just walking, others sprinting like mad, others walking fast and sprinting for a few minutes every now and then!
I would like to know the most effective way of doing cardio for burning fat and not taking much of a toll on the muscles. But then again you can't burn fat if you don't burn calories or can you?
I'm confused, what's the best way for doing cardio. I only want to do it 20 minutes 4-5 times a week to burn fat.
Secondly What's the best way for doing cardio while taking highly androgenic steroids combined with clenbuterol ?

first off 20 mins is not enough!!! your body only begins lypolosis(fat burning) after 20 min or so. So anything after 20 min is when you burn fat. In turms of speed your best best is 130 heart beats per minute which equals about 5mphr i think for most pple. What i do is i do the walking for 2 mins then i check my heart rate. I look at the digital watch on the treadmill and i count my beats in a 6 second interval. If i count 13 beats or so in the 6 seconds your golden. What you should do is cardio anywhere from 5-7 days a week first thing in the morning on an empty stomatch in the manner i just describes for about 45 min. After your cardio eat a protein and fat meal like tuna and olive oil to keep your fat burning going. Hope this could help.

IMO a brisk walk on an empty stomach or moderate cycling on an empty stomach are good choices.

Secondly, by doing it on an empty stomach; wouldn't that force your body to start eating away at the muscles for energy?
Thirdly, approximately how do you run/walk at 5mph. Is 5mph a fast walk, a jog or a sprint? (i'm 5ft 10")
Lastly, what kind of results have you obtained with this routine?

Ok, I felt guilty so I spent 45 minutes on the treadmill instead of the normal 30
minutes. Now I think I'll go to bed.

I do treadmill for 45 on 4.0 speed with a varying incline but usually steep enough so its no easy walk in the park. I've found that other forms of cardio lead to too much catabolism for me. I wind up burning the same amount of calories as I would on the elipitical which I used to use, but it's not as intense or catabolic.

Get yourself a good heart rate monitor and experiment...I used to do about 45 min at roughly 60% of max HR...now I only do 30, sometimes 45, at about 75% max or higher, and find this is much better for ME...so experiment is key!!

if you wanna test your heart rate urself without any heart monitors just touch that spot under your neck with two fingers and count your heart rate for a 6 second period. I have achieved great results doing it the way i described, and patience is the key. Good luck

and in terms of speed im tall at 6 foot 2 so i guess you should go a little slower then 5 mphr. Experiment and see what speed puts you in the heart rate i mentioned 12-13 beats every 6 seconds.
