Who Believes In Spot Fat Loss?

I know it's a debated subject but who here believes spot fat loss is possible. It also could be genetic, possibly your body automatically begins to burn fat in the place where it is mostly stored specific to your body...just a guess. Anyone know about this stufF?

What's that other "therapy" $hit that's out there. Injections of some kind? I know that $hit can get quite ugly.

It's some oil treatment or something that eats the fat, but people are getting crazy infections. It's mad expensive and there a tons of spa-like places that offer it.

alpha, even the best oil in the world will not reduce fat. It only gets into the sub-Q which the only result of that could be shrinking the skin there. Your body has to use fat as fuel by pulling it into the Krebs cycle, using that fat to run the cycle, which in turn produces ATP which is your bodies only immediate energy source. Only way to lose fat is to burn it and your genetics decide which area goes first.

It's called Mesotherapy. It's all kinds of $hit they inject, I think I may have been wrong about the oil part! I read an article about it in MD a while ago. MD said it was dangerous, caused nasty infections in some cases, etc. Some objective websites say it works some say it doesn't. I used the USATODAY link because it seemed to be the most reputable source.

i thnk it's really sad to see people resort to that because they're too lazy to get on an f'n treadmill and do a little work. i watched a show last night with my mom, it was about liposuction and a mother and daughter said they cant get rid of the fat in their hips, stomach etc. and when the doctor asked them what kind of exercise they do they responded and said they hate exercising because they get too tired, and he asked about the diet, and they said they feel they should live life and eat what they enjoy! absolutely SAD some are!
