    How accurate is a 1 rep max bench calculator/chart?

    anybody know?

    pretty accurate I would say. It really depends on the person. I know people that can max like 50 lbs. more than a 3rep max and I know people (like me) that can do about 20lbs more than a 3rep max.

    Pretty accurate I think. The only way I could see it not being accurate is the higher # of reps you put in for it to calculate.

    i dunno if they are too accurate...ive had them be pretty far off but thats just for me...

    also a word of advice...unless your a power lifter i wouldnt put too much emphasis(sp?) on the weight you use...sure it boosts ur ego...but dont comprimise(sp?) your weight for your form...
