    Too little of a workout???

    Okay so this is my workout routine 1.Chest and triceps 2.legs and shoulders 3.Back and Biceps... Now thats only 3 times a week and I was wondering is there any possible way that I can workout each muscle at least twice a week. i kinda feel like a slob only workingout 3 times a week.

    Imo working each muscle group in a conventional manner will lead to overtraining....to say the least

    The only protocol iv found interesting with this in mind, is DC and Iron.M H.I.T

    Cool, so I should workout every other day to give my body time to rest

    EOD...but allow me to elaborate a little.If you are going to train in this fashion(which I think is great),you'll need to reduce your work load.If you are doing chest/tris's on Monday,then Sunday will be your next chest day.6 day recovery time isn't enough if you balst the hell out of your muscle group in a training session.You'll need to reduce your sets,blast them real hard,and quickly.Several techniques to do this.Rest pause/drop sets ect.You can fully stress,and fatigue a muscle in this fashion quickly while still allowing yourself plenty of energy left over for the vital recovery phase.

    3 days is fine, i findit works much better for my strength gains as well as size, overtraining is a bitch
