    sqauts and knee issues

everytime I squat I get some discomfort in my knee, it doesn't hurt bad. However if I take my feet in a bit and do a narrow squat it feels much better. They are a little tighter then shoulder width. Is this Ok?

I feel an mri coming on.....I WILL NOT STOP SQUATING

Most belive that the further you go past parallel the harder it is on the knees. I am still trying to find research/info online to prove this.

As far as i understand it the stance shouldn't matter since either way the knees will still endure the same "abuse", if any.

IMO stance is a personal preference. Some like it wider some don't.

"However if I take my feet in a bit and do a narrow squat it feels much better" If you feel less pain that way then stick to it.
