Knees Pop when doin leg workouts??

It seems like anytime I do any exercise for my legs my knees always make this pop'n sound. It's not a pain or anything, but you can def. hear the noise it makes. It does it on almost any leg exercise, squats etc. What may cause this, and what can I do to prevent it? Any info would be appreciated, thanks

i dont know for sure but I think you should consult a orthopedist and get an xray... its most probably nothing but if you are gonna hear pops everytime you squat, u wanna make sure its nothing serious..... You wouldnt want to end up disloacting your knee in a middle of a squat right? the sound coud be the result of a loose socket

it is just synovial fluid, if you dont have pain or knee problems, iwouldnt worry. i myslef recomend everyon to wear knee wraps when squting, helps save your knee for the future, i didnt wrap for years, and now my knees are always in pain

I'd still go see a doctor to make sure...my buddy went and got his checked out and he has some disease, so he has to wear these knee wrap thingys all the time..
