    2 days a week workout

I have a friend who has literally only two days a week to workout and he lifts upper body one day, and lower body the next day. He does this on mondays and thursdays spread out pretty evenly. Is this terrible? Will he gain nothing? Anyone have any experiences in this? He asked my advise and as i agree with his point that it is better then nothing i came up with an alternative plan

    mondays back shoulders hamstrings
    thursdas chest biceps quads calves

Am i overthinking it cause i actually think this might be superior then his plan of just doing upper one day and lower the next

I agree. Something is better than nothing. Either work outy is fine. I like your approach better, but he has to see what works for him based on his own goals.
