interval cardio or low intensity while cutting?
well the title pretty much says it all...I am cutting and read in M&F that to lose the most fat keep your body guessing by doing interval cardio training. I go low intensity for 2 mins, then for 30 secs I go all out, and repeat for 45-60 mins. I was checking out the site here and people say that low intensity cardio is the way to go while cutting. It has only been about 2 weeks that I have been cutting, so I cannot notice if I have lost muscle mass from the interval cardio.
One more question I would love to be answered by you experienced body builders out there...is the eliptical machine ok for cardio when cutting? I sometimes walk fast on an incline on the treadmill, but most of the time use eliptical...please help me get my cardio in check! i appreciated the advice bros, thanks..

I use the Elliptical alot but have been hitting the treadmill lately just to mix it up. I would keep my HR at .75% while cutting.

I used to be a cyclist and what I did when cutting was to have one day a week where I did HIT and the other days I did AM intensity with HR between 60% - 75% of MaxHR.

eliptical is great but it really doesnt matter which cardio equipment you use as long as you keep your heart rate up.
as far as intense cardio, im not really sure how it affect your muscles although i have heard it is not great for them. however i always like to do intense cardio like striking a punching bag or sprinting up a hill and walking down because i want to be big but i also want to be healthy and athletic.
