    Steam room vs. The sauna

I usually sit in the steam room after a workout and drink a protein shake. I was wondering if their is any difference between the two. I know I sweat alot more in the steam room then the sauna, but thats the only thing I get between the two.

sauna is probably actually going to make you sweat more but it is hard to tell, since the steam room is based off of humidity most of the water on you is steam and not sweat. also the sauna is better for cleaning out your pores and the steam room is better for clearing out nasal congestion... IMO, i work at a fitness club so i hear things all the time

Is the steam room or sauna supposed to relax you? I feel it is kind of unconfortable . I just jump into the hot tub
