    Bulking and athleticism

    Hey all! I was jw...I wish to build my upper body but i would like to work my legs in a way in which they will get bigger but mostly increase my explosiveness (jumping, vertical, speed etc.) Any workout hints or exercises that may add more inches to my vertical? Im 5'11 and amost dunking a regulation goal...would love to get there! Thx for the help!

    The key it training specificity. If you want to jump higher, do jumping exercise. Get a med ball and do single and double leg jump presses. Basically jump with a med ball and throw the med ball up as high as you can in a shoulder press motion above your head kind of like a squat thrust. Then catch the ball on the way down or you can let it hit the floor, Doesnt really matter. You can also do exercises like hang clean or power clean. hang clean is a little safer to do. Google plyometric workouts and you will find all kinds of exercise for jumping.

    Plyometrics would do the trick
