    Overtraining?

    I currently on a 4 day split:

Mon & Wed: Legs, back and bis
Tues & Thurs: Chest, Shoulders, and Tris

Each workout takes about 45 minutes. I've been training steadily for about 3 months and making good gains. My nutrition is down pat and I'm getting plenty of rest. All natural at this point.

I'm wondering if I would be overtraining if increased my routine to a 6 day routine. Opinions?

Overtraining isnt so cutt and dry Kingoftheages ... It comes down to a local or system wide over taxation... if you will either your working one muscle too much or your working everything too much =P.... its personalised just as someone running 2g of test a week with a diet thats spot on could train till his blue in the face(just a figure of speech obviously even enhanced athletes can over do it)and not over train... you just have to look for the symptoms..

    IE

    Tired all the time...
    Sore all the time
then they can get more extreme... but look em up google =P... you'll be fine

God I tend to babble but I often workout 6 days a week 5 days of weight training and 5 days of cadio overlapped

king of the ages nothing is set in stone, NOTHING! every one has a different body and everything affects each individual differently then the other, so to answer your question it could be, but it also could not, only you know the answer...not us

i think you would be alright adding a couple days bro, keep changing it up, that is key.

listen to your body becuase you should be able to tell from the symptoms if your overtraining. also, if the gains stop, then it's time to do something different.

It would probably work better if you did twice a day. It is pretty likely you would overtrain. It is not for certain though. I can tell you that *I* would overtrain on that. Your recovery abilities might be better then mine though.
