    9 days to increase running fitness

    Have 9 days until I do my 1.5 mile practise run for the army. How should I train for the next 9 days. keep in mind that I have recently recovered from pulled tendons in my foot so have not been able to run for the last 2 months. Should I run everyday except the ninth day for a rest. should I do moderate pace long runs or quick short runs? Thanks.

    1.5 mile isnt that far really i would just run every other day and if your foot can handle it every day,that distance shouldnt really burn you out at all.

    I've been in the army for 12yrs now and we always run 2 miles for our test been that way forever...in what unit do you only have to run 1.5 miles in...add some stair runs into your training...
