can you train heavy year round?

what I do is do my power movements first on my lifting days obviously, so bench for chest, deads every other week for back, bent overs the other weeks, squats for legs etc. I warmup with 2 sets of 12, then go to a weight I can hit 5 with EASY, like id really hit it problably 8-10, then a weight i cant hit 6 with. All other accessory lifts after that are light, 8-15 reps. Can you do that year round? or do i eventually have to humble myself and do sets of 10 with the compounds? by HAVE TO, i mean will i HAVE TO do that for results to keep coming?
    I hope not.

no you dont have to train heavy year round, there are programs that allow you to like westside, because you rotate the heavy exercises, but even these guys take time to lighten it up to work speed, and they also work in 3 wk waves where some waves are more brutal than others, so IMO, no one truly trains heavy every wk all year long
