When Should I eat/take whey protein in between Cardio and my Workout?
Hey, just need help on when to take my whey protein and eat.
Currently I workout out then immediatly take my whey protein then I hit cardio for 30 minutes keeping my heart rate low so as not to burn off muscle. After my cardio I eat a dinner of pure meat, usually fish or chicken.
Am I ok here or should I be doing something different?

Damn sorry, thats where I originally was going to post it but it seemed workout related as well.

whey shakes should be ingested within the twenty min post workout...i have my shake in my truck and drink while i drive from the gym! whey is a good protein to take immediately following a work out...its digestions is around 1 to 2 hours...its a fast acting protein if that makes sense.
...other types of protein like casein (spelling) is something that can be taken as a bedtime snake...the digestion rate is several hours...you absorb while u sleep...hope this helps

Im just worried that if I take my Whey protein after my workout and before my Cardio that I will somehow burn off the protein considering Ill have nothing on my stomach because im eating after my workout and Cardio.

I have a small snack before I workouts mostly for the carbs but I dont like to eat alot cause I feel like it gets in the way of my workouts especially when im working my core.
So far ive just stuck with Taking my whey shake after my workout then do cardio then eat dinner.
