but it hurts I want to do Squats my lower back.
It isnt my form and im not bouncing when I come back up on the last few reps. I got in a car wreck 3 years ago and ever sense have had very slight back issues. It rarely bothered me and I only just started working out 6 months ago. Every time I go to do Squats my back will start hurting.
Now to my question. Should I try using a belt for support? It would look a little silly considering im far from heavy squats but I know squats are very important and I dont want to miss out on all the benefits of working them.
( Once again im sure my form is ok, I had two of the personal trainers at my gym watch me squat )

agreed, no shame in a belt. Better safe than sorry
Who cares about the weight..your muscles dont know if it's 20lb or 200lb..aslong as you are working hard..it's all good

what "gym" do you train at? just because someone is a trainer doesn't mean they know proper squat form. the squat is a very technical lift and if not done correctly can cause many injuries. i see more people performing squats with bad form than any other lift.
post a video from a side angle and i will help critique your form
