    Maybe a dumb question...

I was curious, I looked around for an answer and couldn't find it (doesn't mean it isn't there, just couldn't find it)....

Am I doing myself any good by working out everyday as opposed to focusing on one certain part of the body once a week, three days a week?

I just feel like I need to work out all the time or I am not getting any bigger. I used to work out my entire body everyday and felt great, but someone told me that my body needed that rest period for greater muscle gain.

I was getting bigger when I was doing it everyday... at least I think so, could have been purley psychological too. Like I said, it may be a dumb question, but I have always been curious if I was doing myself greater harm than good by going at it everyday.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

you have more than 3 body parts so its hard to work all of your body parts in 3 days in one week....

this is more than true. you grown outside of the gym, in the gym you actually tear down muscle. to grow your body and cns needs to rest and rebuild, working out more than 5 days per week, especially natural, is not good for growth....you need to eat and rest to recover

this is where you need to find exactly what works for you. go to a few websites and look over routines. find one that fits your lifestyle best and do it for a few months. see how you like the results. then try another and see how your body responds to that. once you find the best routine for YOU then you will be able to grow much faster.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
