    Xtreme Soreness

EVERYTIME I train my biceps I wake up barely able to move them.
I dont want to get addicted to pain killers like advil....

    Any1 experience this? Any tips?
I took a lavender bath this morning+advil it dissapeared.
But it was a painful night.

    I mean its everytime....
Think of it as sleeping on your arm for 8hrs straight....you can barely move.

    I need your guy's opinion

How often do you train the biceps and how many sets? I rarely get mine sore! Sounds like you are over-training for your body type.

It's the only bodypart that gets really sore.
I do it with back, otherwise they dont get sore

    3 exercises
    3 sets = 9 sets total

Don't do it with back or try reducing the total sets to 6! That's the simpliest approach..

Ronnie: Im a believer in soreness. As you know, it's getting out of hand.
I measure my progress with soreness. (and measurements obviously). But if I dont get sore, I think I did not do my best.

Seriously, if I don't train it with back, or do MORE sets than those I have shown, I just wont get sore.
It's either all or nothing here when it comes to my bicep soreness.

Are you seriously telling me that you never get bicep soreness, and have what seems to be like a 19-20inch arm? *(Mine's 17inch)

Physiologically speaking, soreness is about the worst way to measure your progress. In fact a lack of soreness is an indication that you are training properly. There really shouldnt be any soreness about two weeks after a novel stimulus is introduced to the muscles. Meaning that your body should have adapted enough after two or three workouts into a new program so that soreness is minimal at most.

I agree with above you need to take a hard look at your workout because you should not be that sore to the point that you cant move. I am not saying a little soreness will not be present, but it should not be to the extent that you are talking about.

cardio the soreness you are talking about is caleld DOMS, Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. And i think muscle science is right....
