upright row 4 sets of 8
Lat raisers 3 sets of 10

    plus two abbs sessions

Ok, now what i have decided to do is double up my sessions.
    this is how it looks
    monday morning chest tris
    monday evening back bis
    tuesday mournig legs
    tuesady evening shoulders, lower back
    wedensday cardio, abbs
    thursday mourning back bis
    thursday evening chest tris
    friday mourning shoulders, lower back

    And same for next week.

What are peoples opinons on this? and has anyone done something similar or could suggest anything?

I have recently been doubling up some of my workouts but I dont think its necessarily the best for building mass. I`m doing it more to get that extra rippedness.

    yeah im on a bulker,
but feel that only working each body part once a week was not enough, i read about this tequniqe being used by BB to shock the body and gain a good amount of lean muscle.
Is it too much work for a bulker?

On cycle i usually go the other way while bulking, I go heavy reaching failure on each set as i reduce the weight, i really go maxout and as such i increase the rest time as it is very much needed,

I think your sets and reps are ok but would make the reps a little flexable 6-8 for example and once you hit 8 increase the weight.

Are you reaching failure on each set or just the last?

The thing i would worry about is recovery with that program,, esp if you are failing on each set.

In the past i have had good gains while only working 1 on 1 off while bulking as long as i really hit them hard, even then sessions are only 45min to 1 hour but i am knackered after. I know a few that have enjoyed the feeling while on cycle so much they increase there gym time and very soon hit overtraining

However having said that, everyone needs to try systems for there own body, you are looking into different things and that is good, try it but monitor your bodies needs, esp after the initial shock of the program and watchout for the signs of overtraining.

Good luck and let us know how it goes for you

its very rare to find bb doing chest twice a week my self included i don't see it benefiting the growth. i believe if u work it right and to failure with out over working it u should devolop muscle and feel the shock.
    that 's my thought.

Yes on all sets i go to failure sometimes only getting four out, on main exercises such as bench, squats etc i do two warm up sets aswell.

I think i might have fallen into the feeling of being on cycle which is why i have decided to give this a go even though its prob more suited for a cutter.
i have done three days so far and do feel the energy drain. if i am able to still countine on tommorro with heavyier weights (progressive overload) ill do it again the next week, but if strength drops it would be better to cut it away and go back to the 4 day split.

ok so doing each muscle group once a week is sufficent. how do you split it, i have found my method above very good but im only hitting the gym four days a week.

sorry iam not trying to write u a journal but i had to elaborate.
yes once a week shoud b sufficent and 4 days a week is common.
unless u have a hard time responding to once a week workout. don't get me wrong some of my muscle group i workem twice a week for instance, i have 1 day i dedicate to my biceps and tri's i really focus on them that day slow motion and each set consist of 10 to 12 reps to failure. now i still workout my bis with my back but hit it very littly also i do my tri's with chest littly i found it working for me. couple of people i worked out with including my cousin who compete told me about it and that's why i tried it.
they r considered small muscle group. ur recovery time shouldn't take more than your back to chest.
but going back to major muscles as far as back and chest from my experince i didn't c or trained with anybody who did the chest twice iam not saying its impossible its just not common. i c people that train legs twice a week but when u ask' em how? they tsay i work front in one day and hams in another day but for me that s considered advanced trainning because this people dedicate more time in the gym. since your like me doing only 4 days a week and not at competetive phase i say stick to basic old school.
focus more on your diet and when you are at gym b at gym get rid of all negative thoughts, this is my style of how i do it.
