Does Screaming While Lifting Increase Strength? Maybe by 25%
I found this on another site and thought you guys/ gals might find it interesting too… It seems to increase by 25%
“In episode seven of the FSN series, Sports Science, the show examines the idea that screaming affects performance, using martial artist Paul Pumphrey. Their conclusion is that it does. Physiologically, screaming releases a burst of adrenaline and causes a higher heart rate which increases blood flow to the limbs and organs. The lungs contract which forces oxygenated blood to the extremities. It also causes all of the core muscles to contract simultaneously. In addition, it provides a psychological boost. Here is the segment:”

Someone should tell the people at the “Planet Fitness” gyms… Because they have a no scream policy and will kick you out if you do
Here’s a clip/ video showing “Planet Fitness” escorting a man out for grunting….

I wonder if that's why women scream when I'm having sex with them? Either it's that or perhaps I should introduce myself first and make sure they actually want to have sex...hmmm....
