    check out my shoulder program!

Hey guys i'm changing my workout routine up in about a week or so and I was wondering if this is a good workout routine.

    This is my previous workout:

    DB Press
    db front raises
    db side lateral raises
    db rear lateral raises
and sometimes behind the neck press

I don't really know what new exercises to do for my new shoulder workout but I Was thinking of doing arnold press and some other things with cables...any suggestions?

I'm just anti-behind the neck anything exercise. If you do go behind the neck, don't go down further than about and inch from the top of your head, JMO

    How about using some barbells?

Bb military press, smith machine press, upright rows, hammer strength machine, cable laterals....

Do you do traps with shoulders?

bro, theirs only so many exercises productive for the human body (dante)

get ****ing stronger at pressing weight over your head. This is the primary way to grow shoulders.

other exercises would be barbell military's, smith machine militaries, good hammer machine or other machine shoulder press. skip the arnolds.

as long as your not lanky and awkward, you can bring your hands down to just under chin level. elbows 90 is a shitty range of motion

reverse flys on machine OR (totally stolen from Arnold - and a fav of mine) if your gym has a stool or chair you can borrow it and do rear laterals while seated upright using cable (hard to explain - pic of arnold in encyclopedia of moderm BB-demontrates it perfectly)..and of course bent over seated laterals....

barbell is the long bar used for chest flat bench...

militarys presses are when you sit or stand... pressing the weight from under your chin above you chest to the highest point above you head with a shoulder width grip on the bar or wider... i didnt look for it but youtube im sure has some examples...

same for rear delts - go and look on youtube

    i do:
    bent over reverse flies
    reverse cable cross overs
peck deck(some of them)have an ability to change the pads to hit rear delts
rotorcuff raises - hard to explain
side lateral raises - i do these on a hammer machine

    yep.

If you can do them properly, they are one of the best exercises you can do.

In general all you need is one-over head pressing movement, one-side lateral raise movement, and one-rear lateral raise movement. This covers all three heads!

This is how i train shoulders.

    dumbell press
    seated db lateral raise
standing bent over rear lateral raises
    shrugs

I will change the movements every 3-4 weeks.
