Would you train your arms everyday?

I train mine 2 times a week. Its a mucsle like everything else so why would you train it everyday? I do one day with hardcore ab training (decline situps on my bench, hanging leg lift and crunches) then the other day more just core exercises with alot of different things. I'm no expert but thats what I do

I do abs typically 2-3 days a week. I try splitting it up by doing obliques then upper and lower abs. I typically do obliques first, with lowers the next workout, and upppers the last workout. Seems to work for me.

I believe everyday is to much. Give them rest like your other muscle groups. Also you are working your abs and core muscles on legs day with squats, deads and pretty much any exercise you are standing up for because they stabilize you.

Instead of everyday do them twice a week for the next month. See what the results are and then tweak to your body.

well if you are doing abs as just a core muscle exercise for endurance and toning then everyday is not bad, not totally advised because generally you need to have some rest..

but if you are actually training them to hard core failure and putting resistance on them then no more than twice a week

he was just asking a question.. no need to act all smart and answer a question with a question. If he is asking, he obviously isn't sure of the answer and needs some guidence. If you are going to post something that doesn't benefit him in some way why post in the first place?

It seems like you should give your abs as much rest as you would any other muscle.. i.e train abs max 2-3 times per week depending on intensity.

For endurance-no, for thickness-yes! Once or twice a week max for ab development.

Also, if you really are blasting them good then you are setting yourself up to do a less than ideal workout every day. You need to let them recover so that you can train them harder the next time you train.
