i'm trying to develop a workout for a competitive rock climber. this kid just needs to build more strength in his upper body.

there really is no need for him to have huge legs or anything and i'm thinking i might give him an upper body work out that sort of mimics a wrestling workout.

He's training in the climbing gym about 3-4 days a week so he is able to train in the weightroom 3 days a week. what kind of suggestions would you guys give to this kid for upper body strength and core strength? remember, he doesn't need to grow like a powerlifter. thanks you guys.
