I had to watch dan's vid to know what it was... haven't seen one of those since I was in the Marine Corps and before that was High School... go figure...

I don't see how it would be much different than BB Deads... it's basically like doing deads with DB's so if you don't have one you could use DB's would be pretty light though haha

odd.. don't see a point. there is a new thing about people getting wrapped up with these tiny muscles. IDK why. If your traps are small, most likely it is cuz your back is not well developed; not much guys with big bis and small forearms...

yeah they are pretty much like BB deads, but they are more comfortable to do having your hands down by your sides, therefor you can get more weight on.......

the main muscles worked are you're legs, its a compound movement.....i think the bar is called a Trap Bar...its good for shrugs.....but you do deads with the bar hence trap deadlift..the actuall movement doesnt really touch you're traps as you would think by the name of the excercise.....not the best at explaining myself LOL........

    Those are called "Trap Bars"?

We have a really tiny version of that at our gym and I always wondered what it was, except there is no way you could step into the middle of it and do a deadlift like that one in the video. The only time ive used it, the small one we have, is for two armed hammer curls.

great for tricep extensions and especially for chest. depending on how close together your hands are it can be really good. sit in incline and with elbows out, press it up. almost like closed grip bench, but the hands facing each other. hits inner chest.

I've tried it for traps, but I go pretty heavy on the traps and getting it off the floor was a pretty heavy deadlift.... I usually warm up for deads so I didn't care for it as a trap exercise.....to tell you the truth, I think I want to experiment with it as a variation for deadlift days tho. I haven't done that.
