Arrow train smaller bodyparts twice ?

for the bodyparts you find hard to build up ( mind being shoulder) should you theirfore train that bodypart twice a week ? its not a weak bodypart just the hardest i find to add mass to.

For me, smaller parts such as arms, calves can be hit twice a week. Shoulders however get hit hard on back day and on chest day. Maybe you are over training them....

    What is your split?

I agree with terrai. Could be over training. Your shoulder are the link to every upper body exercise so they are getting used on your other days. I hit calves and abs 3 times a weeks as these muscles recover quickly.

No way should you be training shoulders twice a week. Train them harder one day a week.

If it's not getting you what you want, change it.

I think the 3 day spilt is good, maybe try-

mon: chest & tricep & Shoulders
    wed: Legs
fri: back & Bis or add shoulders here

This is very popular spilt, has worked for many.

    My 3 day spilt is

    Mon, Chest/shoulders/ bis
    Wed, Legs
    Fri, Back, tris

^^this allows me to hit the bis and tris twice in the week, all be it as secondary mucsle

    Monday: Chest and Tri's (Abs)
    Wed: Back and Bi's
    Friday: Legs (Abs)
    Saturday: Shoulders

shoulders have their own day for me and it's been working out great. That's my .02

What is your shoulder routine? When you train shoulders, do they get pumped/burn like when you train other bodyparts?
