    cardio question..

question, i have two possible scenarios but don't know which one to choose or is better for me to cut down further.

AM - BCAA Shake, cardio (uphill walk for 45 min) hr is 120-140

    or

PM - Eat real food 1-2 hr before (uphill walk for 45 min) heart rate is 140-175

So obviously i burn more calories in the evening because i have glycogen build up but would the am be better for fat loss.

Either will work and can be effective. Doing the PM session will be the most effective long term especially if you leave the carbs out of the meal prior to doing it.

Ok sounds good thanks for the advice. And especially the pm one when I take 4 grams of l-carnitine, I usually burn 600-650 calories from doing just a 45 min session walking, its insane.

I just take what FG says as fact now LOL

The Fasted Low intensity will pay off over the long term. What i mean is you can do it often and consistently for a long time and over a long period. It is a good base to chip away at fat stores. Since calories burned will be low you wont see drastic quick results.

The PM higher intensity sessions are where it is at. It all comes down to cals in vs cals out and doing a high intensity session is going to burn a load of calories.

Treat this session as a calorie blaster. Sorry for the cheesy name LOL. What i mean is that your goal in this session is to bun as many calories as you can

But personally i would reccomend both if u plan to get in any decent shape and retain LBM
