I work shift work so my schedule is nuts. I'll train at 2pm before day shifts, which is right after breakfast for me. Lol. Or I'll train after work on days ~ 5-6pm. Sometimes, I'll go in before a day shift at 2 AM. Needless to say I have the gym all to myself. Lol.

If I don't get enough work in, I'll do a split and do weights on the way in and put in a little more work and cardio on the way home.

I work shifts 6-2 and 2-10 weeks about, so I do both, I either train at 12 midday or 3pm, for me either one is ideal, I have enough food in me although I am realising that if I skip pre breakfast cardio my sessions are even better, I have woke up enough, and it gives me enough time to wind down for sleep, and enough meals afterwards to replace and replenish. Tried am workouts and they were poor to say the least, late night workouts stop me sleeping properly.

I would train after work and worry about food intake and hitting my macronutrients at work.

I have it conversely , after workout I tend to get sleepy, especially after really intense workout.

work from 3:30 a.m. - noon. always train at 12 for about 1hr or so. i can eat my post wkout shake then a meal around 2:30. sometimes if i am working second jobs (which is less than half the time) i will train on my lunch break 8:30-9:30 a.m. the gym is pretty isolated and only available to faculty and staff after 10 a.m. but those early workouts i have the benefit of seeing all the hot little college girls taking fitness class. i luv my job

I train after work around 7pm, it sucks on legs day tho because I am on my feet from 8-6 and pretty much spend the time doing manual labor, so my legs feel fatigued before I ever get to the gym.

Before work from 5:00 A:M to about 6:00 A:M or so. After work I need to get home to take the dog out. The wife doesn't get home until 2-3 hrs after me.
