Dead-lifts. WOW!
i never did dead-lifts before, and for the first time i did them yesterday, and WOW! my whole body never been so sour! i had no idea it hits so many muscles, and my traps holy crap! and most important they are easy on the joints, and much safer that squats! i only did partial deads and it had so much effect. i love deads now!

Yup. Throw in some BB rows, with superb form, and work hard on leg days....then you'll be able to fill out so much. Because once your legs and back are built, the chest can easily be built. then from there shoulders, arms, etc. It's important to build those bases first. I couldn't understand why my chest wouldn't grow, it was because my back was shitty and underdeveloped. Now that i'm focusing on my back more and really building some muscle there, my chest is starting to play catch up as well.
It's funny we envy bb's all day long on how huge they are, yet most overlook the foundation they built in order to get that big. Big legs, big back, and the rest will come in due time.
It took me a VERY long time to understand that wisdom. You just want "it all" so quickly you overlook the steps you MUST go through.

Absolutely no substitute for squats and deadlifts. Period. Presses are for people who want to show off. Leg extensions are murder on the knees and lunges are for women.
You want a better deadlift? Stack the 25's on there so you can get deeper. The big ass 45's barely get you to 90*. Or use a platform. Back, traps, forearms, quads, hanmys, glutes, abs... Man. Deads are the bomb.

LOL, yea staid away from them because i have lower back pain, but when i tried it with just the bar it felt so easy, then added little weights, then more, and little more and it felt great, no discomfort on my lower back at all. the squats hurt my lower back more than anything else! so i am hoping that once the deads strengthen my back the squats will become easier and less painful!

I don't know what your training for but deadlifting is a squatting motion, you can build huge quads from DL'n alone. Pressing movements are only for showing off? Oh please! unless your stacking 4 plates on the smith and doing 1/18th of a rom. Pressing movements are equally as important as the pulling lifts. Leg extension's are murder on the patella only if your locking out, if you were a bodybuilder you would know that TUT is what's important. Lunges are for women? lol no. lunges are a great exercise for the quads/hams/glutes. next time your in the gym grab the 100lb DB's and do some walking lunges for 20-30m and come back here and tell me there for women.
