Expand Rib Cage ?
I found an exercise in Arnolds bible that he said expands your rib cage.
The pull over where u just place ur shoulders on a bench and everything else hangs off while u bring your arms from an extended position to above your chest.
I was just wondering, how does this expand your rib cage... what exactly does "expand your rib cage mean"... the bones are obviously not growing????Last edited by Somnius; 03-27-2003 at 09:38 PM.

I has been shown to do this for adolecents but not effective in adults. Adult bone and connective tissue is much more concrete. Basically a 15-18 year old beginning may benefit from doing Pull Overs to widen their chest structure.

I have read the old timers(like Arnold) beleived that it expanded your rib cage, however all scientific evidence out there firmly disproves it. On another note, Jay Cutler beleives DB pullovers don't expand your rib cage, but it is a way to hit your chest from a completely different angle.
