    Not seeing a difference. help?

Ive been doing a pretty laid back workout regiment for about 5 weeks now and i am not seeing much of a difference. I feel healthier which i love, but i want it to show.
my workout is pretty much all cardio, i am trying to cut weight from 178 to 150-155.

    i jog 2 miles
3 sets of 15 regular push ups
3 sets of 15 diamond palm push ups
    5 sets of 10 crunches
5 sets of 15 sit ups
    5 sets of 10 dips
5 sets of 10 chin ups

i used to do this when i was younger and competed in boxing and i could see the difference as the weeks went by. but not anymore.

possibly my lack of knowledge on ideal dieting is the issue. i dont know of any diets that go hand and hand with cardio besides juice fast, or just not eating carbs, which i find hard being italian and having a home cooked meal every night. any help on a workout regiment or a good diet reference would be greatly appreciated.

this is definitely the issue, you dont need to juice fast or skip carbs you just need a proper balanced diet.

go to the diet section and read the stickies on TDEE and how to cut.

then get your TDEE subtract 10-15% and that is the amount of calories you should consume.
there are many different macro splits that can work for cutting, 40/40/20 is standard but you can mess around and see whats best for you.

then eat your carbs (if you choose a carb diet) at 3 times in the day:
    breakfast
    pre-wo
    post-wo

all other meals will only have protein and fats.

    and choose clean foods:
    protein:
    whey
    eggs
    lean meat
    fish

    carbs:
    oats
    brown rice
    yam/sweet potato
if you are serious about cut then no fruits and no sugars besides 2-5 servings of fibrous vegetable

    fats:
this will depend on how many fats you consume,
if your split is 30% or less fats then
    fish/fish oil
    avocado
    flax oil
    olive oil
    nuts
if your split is above 30% you can add in some saturated fats
