    Just one exersize?

Think about this, are flys good enough for chest? Is seated rows good enough fir back? Are leg extensions good enough for quads?

If you wanna do like 15-20 sets of the same exercise, then yes. Overhead extension is fine

But even better is rope pull downs, dips, overheads, and close grip.

Make a 15-20 set routine out of 4 different exersize, that way you hit all heads of muscle and develop it much more detailed.²

    As couch said.

If you can do one arm ext you can do skull crushers
Or ever just tricep pushups at the end too

If that's the only triceps exercise you can do (not sure why that would be), It's better than nothing.

If you're only picking one exercise to do for time constraints or whatever, I'd pick another exercise.... Probably cable press downs.

I'd go with cable press downs. Dumbells and even the ez bar/curved bar are rough on the elbow joints. I got two bad elbows from doing ez bar tricep extensions with heavy weight. An older guy even warned me then when he saw me. The single arm cable tricep extensions give me the best pump anyway.

The single arm cable pull down gives me burn more than any tricep exercise I've done
