Advice For Noobs, Rotator Cuff Exer.
With all the shoulder injuries that have been posted as of late (and to my own recent experience with this type of injury) I have learned that Rotator Cuff muscles are some of the most neglected muscles in the body..and fill such an important role. Often, delts grow much faster than these muscles can adapt to the new size, strains, and workouts..they can become pinched between the bones in the joint, tear, strain or any other numerous possibilities. I suggest that folks incorporate training these muscles in their routines.
Since there muscles are small, the weight is almost nill..I found out from an Ortho Surgeon (also a BB'er) that he uses rubber bands, and light dumbbells.
There are ****loads of good sites on the net that give excellent ways to workout these muscles so you are not in the same boat as many.link
