ARMY GI BILL info......

Hey guys! I found this out the other day and I don’t
quite have all the information on it yet but it seems
that if you put money into the “GI bill” during your
service days then you may be able to get this back
with out going to school…….Yep!
They have an “On the job training program” that works
with your employer to give you money from your GI bill
just for going to work……

The VA rep is coming to the office Sep 2nd to go over it with a couple of us
and our manager....He had said it was a bit over $700.00 for the first 6 months then
drops a bit for the rest of the time.......
Hey, $700 extra dollars a month is cool by me!

your veterans officer can tell u all the programs you can do to get paid...ISSA is one..lol paid me to get it.. i love it...Rangers lead the Way..

theres a lot of different programs the VA will designate as educational and you can get your gi benifits without being in school. a friend of mine in SC is doing it right now, but in order to get around some red tape he had to register 1/2 time in school, then just never showed...
biggest mistake i ever made was not getting that **** gi bill- i must have been sleeping in basic as they were giving the brief- now all my school is coming out of my pocket, and i'm a "disabled vet".....

Does this only count if your ten year window is still open? I assume so. I didn't use all my funds before the 10 year window closed. Would be nice if I could get at that cash.
