    Any dog trainers?

    I am trying to get my 4 month old golden retriever to fetch. I think i might have screwed it up for punishing him for playing with things hes not supposed to. But, he plays with his bones and balls without worrying about me, so I dont know if it was that. Anyways, whenever i throw something like 2 feet away or any distance for that matter he just stares at me, I have tried so many techniques. Does anyone know any creative way of teaching a dog to retrieve?
