Possoms are cute
I never really saw a possom before. A few weeks ago, I saw one on my porch eating my room mates dog food. It just looked up at me with it's cute beedy little eyes and pointy nose. Then, it just walked away all casual into the dark. Now my room mate is out and she took her cat and dog. This means I have no cat or dog to hunt the small little animals or keep them away. I sometimes leave my back door open. Well now that just means an open invitation for POSSOMS I found out. I was sleeping on the floor of my living room and woke up after getting a weird feeling of something near me.
I look over and see a "CUTE" baby possom, the size of a bunny, looking at me. They arent very fast or smart creatures I found out. It found some of my pizza on the plate and was just munchin away while inside my house.
I caught him in a shoe box and was checking him out. They look like cool little animals. I think Im gonna keep one as a pet. De rabitize him and maybe cut off his "rat-like" tail and he will be a good little house pet.

true, they do look really cute but I hate the tail bro, their tail make them look like a fat ass rat.
Last autumn I found a baby hedgehog and kept it for 3 months before I released back to nature, they are also pretty cute looking animals.

Just be glad you have "possums", when I lived in Louisiana we had skunks that would come up on the porch and eat the cat food. Try figuring out how to run one of those off safely.

there was a rabid possum hiding in our barn one day. i had 17 shots in the .22 rifle. yeah its a pussy gun i know. but anyways i was a foot away from the possum shooting it in the head and it was just slowly walking away. so it took all 17 bullets! i went back inside to reload and when i came back out it had made it past the tree line! rough little bastards...

Anything that can grow 3 inch fangs is not cute to me. Newyork grows some nasty opossums.

i live on a farm, they r crazy.....
i found 1 one time, beat it with a crowbar, shot it, still was crawling..... put a hay hook it in and tied it behind the truck and dragged it on the highway..... it was skinless pretty much and still crawling away..... i think he found my stash of roids lol.... he ended up dying after i did a burnout on his head.

Last experience I had with a **** possum was when I was getting ready to go fishing a few months ago. I flipped our john boat over behind our shed and this little bastard possum charged out from under it hissing and growling. It freaked me the h*ll out at first but when I saw it was a possum I kicked some dirt at it and it hauled a**. On another note my grandmother had a pet possum for the longest time. She found it in her shed when it was small and she kept it for like 4 or 5 years. She kept it in a rabbit cage and fed it cat food.
