    Alfie.
    All the Monty Phyton stuff.
    The Italian job.
Didn't the Brits make 'Day of the Jackel'?.

The British (my sworn enemy so I ain't biased) made probably the best cinema and TV out there. And I don't know if its just that I'm getting older now (39 next month) but almost anything to have come out of Hollywood this last ten years has been woefull.

    nice one

i wasnt sure which ones had made it to the Us
i'm very surprised you have seen Made in Briton

i'm sick of these fecking hugh grant movies and other posh gits that makie us brits sound like we all speak like the queen- we dont all speak like that - its just their is sever prejudice in the british film industry and they tend to only employ upper class twits like hugh grant

in reality we (londoners) sound more like people from lock stock (especially all the kids nowadays)

I just got thinking about British Movies and here's a few more memorable one's.

The Bridge over the river Kwai.
The long good Friday... (Bdtr you'd love this one)
Bugsy Malone... The one with all the child gangsters.
    CALIGULA.. Need I say more
    All the 'carry on' movies.
The charge of the light Brigade.
    chariots of fire.
    The Crying game.
    Doctor Zhivago.
    The elephant man.

    There's so many.

Bdtr you really should get 'The long good Friday'. You'll love it.

Is that the one about the English Gangster? I've seen it some time ago. It's an old one. I'll check it out again though.

I've also seen the Bridge over the River Kwai
    Caligula
    The crying game
    Doctor Zhivago
    The Elephant man

Now I'm planning what DVD's to buy today!. I've a 7 1/2'' portable DVD player for the car, I'm addicted to it, it goes everywhere with me.

Mmmmmmmm, Quadrophenia looks like a likely buy. I don't have it, and would you guys believe I still ride a VespaPX200 left over from my skin head days!.

Vinnie is the man. But I'd love to kick the sh*t out of him. Preferably in front of a BBC camera man too.

No it's not. In fact I don't recall seeing a great UK movie. Maybe just looking in the wrong place. I will try some of the one's posted here though.
