Anyone's Parents ever offer Plastic Surgery as a first option.
I was talking to a friend of mine in the gym today that I went to highschool with. He was telling me that he needed to loose the fat around his midsection. I offered him a few helpful tips. The thing that made me laugh however was that he told me that he mentioned it to his mom and the FIRST thing she recommended was lypo-suction. Not exercise or a good diet, lypo-suction! Does this seem weird to anyone else that a parent would rather just have their kid get the fat sucked out of them rather then work it off. I mean the kid is in no means fat. He may have 2 inches at most that he needs to lose from his gut. A little cardio and diet could probably get in done in a couple months. Parents now a days...

I have a friend from high school who's parents got her lypo suction of the thighs when she was 17! I do not get it. I would choose surgery as a last resort. If you do not change your lifestyle won't it all come back anyway?

Does liposuction semi-permanently get rid of the fat because the cells are gone? Or does the body create new fat cells in their place afterward?
