One game made N64 great to me and it was Goldeney. There is no game ever that I have played as much and only Mario cart is its match when it comes to pure multiplayer fun. Zelda 64 was pretty neat aswell.

You got that right there everywhere all around italy and toronto, I was in sweden 2 weeks ago very friendly and beutiful went on a couple dates was fun. Anyway saw some losers sleeping in front of bestbuy to get a 360. Funny stuff. If I didnt have to wake up so early I would of loved to go with a few friends at 4 in the morning put some mask on and jump on there tents while they are sleeping.

Its true. Both the 360 and PS3 are made for HDTVs. They will still work on a standard tv but not look nearly as good.

That is basically the difference between the two 360 packages.

The Core system is bare bones($299):

AV cables

The PREMIUM package($399):

HDTV cables

1 year of Xbox Live

I was able to pick one up on launch day, it wasnt easy...I left my house at 10:15pm on the 21st, camped at Sam's Club overnight, and was able to purchase a premium bundle at 7:00am on the 22nd....then had to go shower and head to work.....I considered ebaying it, but decided against it...after playing it, i must say, it was worth waiting for, im very impressed.

yeah all 3 of those games made buying the system worthwile. mario 64 was pretty sweet too, and i played the shit out of this one other game i can't remember now.

Nope. If you didnt get one of the preorders on Nov 22nd, they say it will be impossible for them to get a new stock out in time for christmas, thats why people are able to sell theirs for tons of money.

that's effing gay about the stock though. in reality they really didn't get much of a jump on ps3 then because the only time 'rents shell out $500 for a system and a few games is for christmas and birthdays. **** by the time this stupid thing is being sold winter will half over anyways and that's the only time i wanna play it.

besides i wanna see if it tanks. i've read some stuff that suggests it's going down the same path as the n64. it's going to be harder to program than current-gen consoles, and the games are going to cost $10 more. sound familiar?

There is no telling which will be better, until they are both released since games and online capabilities will be the deciding factor as both consoles are similar performance wise. I have read the tech sheets, they are both very similar, Ps3 has a slightly better CPU while the Xbox360 has a slightly better GPU and all the other numbers are quite similar, meaning both sides will have stunning graphics and physics. Both will have great games by the look of the developers they have under their belts, but i still pick Xbox 360 to win because they have a far superior online service(Xbox Live). Nonetheless, i will buy both just like you.
